Here is a new photo to show my progress (or lack thereof) of the wool-silk-alpaca scarves.

Putting the warp on

Getting ready to wind all 13 yards of warp on the loom.

It has been over a year since my last post and I regret not doing so earlier.  I have relocated to the beautiful Salt Lake Valley in Utah.  Give the unfamiliar weather and lots of snow I have decided to make some new scarves to keep myself and my customers warm this winter. They are being made out of 50% Merino Wool/50% Silk for the warp and 80% Alpaca/20% Silk for the weft. Below is a picture of the yarn on its cones.

 Are the colors lovely or what?

The pattern I have chosen is the same as the Blue and Purple scarves I made two years ago.
